BALC is an art collective with the aim of increasing female representation within the NFT art scene. The Collective is giving members the opportunity to create derivative artworks of the famous Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs.

BALC was founded by Novocrypto right after the launch of the official Bored Ape Yacht Club in May 2021. The Genesis Drop is an all-female artist collection. However, from the second month, we invite 4 male or non-binary artists to also apply for every 8 female artists who join us. We are all for inclusivity and equity.
